Coriant, the industrial and infrastructure maintenance services group backed by H.I.G. Capital, today announces the acquisition of Intech Environmental and the introduction of industrial cleaning as a dedicated service line within the Group, strengthening its ability to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions to customers.
Intech Environmental is a specialist provider of industrial cleaning, confined space rescue and rope access, alongside complementary services including high-pressure water jetting, specialist vacuum services, and tank, silo and vessel cleaning. Operating across the UK, the business supports customers across a range of sectors, including energy from waste, steel, water treatment, utilities and the wider industrial markets.
Combining Intech’s expertise with Coriant’s existing capabilities will enable the Group to offer a more comprehensive service proposition, delivering greater value through a single, increasingly full-service industrial services partner. Intech’s UK-wide reach also extends Coriant’s geographic presence, strengthening its ability to support customers across key industrial sectors and locations.
The acquisition builds on Coriant’s continued development, from the foundation of Rainham, Zenith and TEi, through the subsequent additions of CVS, SCA and Wescott SGS. Together, these businesses form a growing, integrated industrial services group, combining complementary expertise and capabilities to deliver a broader, more holistic high-quality service offering.
Maxine Mayhew, CEO of Coriant, commented:
“Bringing Intech into Coriant is another important step in building a leading, increasingly full-service industrial services group. Intech’s complementary capabilities, particularly in specialist industrial cleaning, strengthen our service offering as we accelerate our growth and expand our integrated service proposition.
We’re delighted to welcome the Intech team to Coriant and look forward to building on our combined strengths to deliver greater quality and choice for our customers.”
Brian Kilminster, Managing Director at Intech Environmental, added:
“Joining Coriant represents an exciting next chapter for Intech Environmental. We have built our business on specialist expertise, a strong focus on safety and quality, and a commitment to delivering reliable solutions in demanding industrial environments.
Becoming part of Coriant allows us to build on these foundations, combining our expertise with the Group’s complementary capabilities to expand our service offering and support a wider range of customer needs.”
